The Quran is the holy book of Islam, regarded by Muslims as the direct and unaltered word of God (Allah), revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the Angel Gabriel over a period of approximately 23 years. It serves as the primary source of guidance for Muslims in all aspects of life, offering wisdom, moral principles, laws, and a comprehensive framework for living a righteous life.

Structure and Composition of the Quran
The Quran consists of 114 chapters, known as Surahs, which vary in length. These Surahs are divided into verses, referred to as Ayahs. The Quran is not arranged in chronological order; instead, it follows a pattern where the longest Surahs appear at the beginning, and the shorter ones are found toward the end. The book is divided into 30 sections, known as Juz, to facilitate easier reading and memorization.

Each Surah addresses different themes, ranging from theology and law to stories of past prophets, guidance for daily life, and the afterlife. The Quran's verses provide answers to existential questions and outline the way Muslims should conduct themselves both individually and within society.

The Language of the Quran
One of the most revered aspects of the Quran is its language. Written in classical Arabic, the Quran is famous for its linguistic beauty, rhythm, and eloquence. The language of the Quran is considered divine and beyond human capability, believed to be inimitable. Its powerful words are designed to inspire, guide, and provoke reflection.

Muslims believe that the Quran is a miracle not only because of its divine message but also due to its preservation of this unique and unmatched language throughout the centuries. The Quran's ability to speak to all generations and cultures is viewed as a testament to its timeless nature.

Preservation of the Quran
A central tenet of Islamic belief is the preservation of the Quran in its original form. Unlike other religious texts, the Quran has been kept unchanged since its revelation over 1,400 years ago. The Quran has been preserved both in written form and orally, as millions of Muslims have memorized the entire book. This tradition of memorization, known as Hafiz, is deeply rooted in the Islamic faith and continues today.

Quran’s Role in Daily Life
The Quran is integral to the daily lives of Muslims. It is recited during prayers (Salah), used for personal reflection, and studied to gain a deeper understanding of its message. Muslims believe that the Quran provides solutions to moral, social, and spiritual challenges. It emphasizes the importance of justice, charity, patience, and maintaining a strong relationship with Allah. It also serves as a comprehensive guide for personal growth and societal harmony.
